FM27 Young Talents

Starting records, with evidence

The installed 27.0.0 database was read again on 30 October 2026. Attached players enter this selection with CA 110+, or at age 21 or under with fixed PA 140+ or variable PA -8 or higher. There is no ranking cap on those cohorts; unreadable identities and insufficient assigned attributes are excluded. The free list separately retains the top 200 records by CA. Player current and potential ability were cross-checked between two independent database files. Club names and player display names were resolved by their identifiers. Every row retains its source record and import date.

What the categories mean

Cheap wonderkids meet the wonderkid criteria below and have a recorded player value below €10m; no release clause is required. Imported values are estimates, not confirmed asking prices. Budget transfers require CA of at least 130 and a recorded value below €10m, with no release-clause requirement. The release-clause category separately uses the upper conversion estimate for its €10m threshold. Neither category implies that the player will join or accept their current wage. Expiring contracts end by 30 June 2027 in the saved-career read; extension options and future agreements need checking. Wonderkids are aged 21 or under with fixed PA of at least 150 or a high variable-potential code (-10, -95, -9 or -85). Development prospects are aged 23 or under with a potential gap of at least 20 in our selection. Variable potential is set when a new career begins; it is not a guaranteed final ability.

First-team ready uses CA of at least 140. Lower-league targets are unattached players with CA 90–110. These are editorial scouting routes, not guarantees of suitability or interest for every club.

What still needs an approach

The free-transfer list selects the top 200 by CA from unattached installed-database profiles and verified identities with expired contract dates and no team registration in a starting career dated 29 June 2026. Thirty-six released players are included from that career, including Mahrez, Eriksen and Acerbi. Historical club fields can remain populated in the installed database after a career releases a player. Confirm retirement status, availability, future agreements, registration and new contract terms in your own save. Records without enough readable attributes or identities are excluded. “Not checked” means unknown, never zero. Four minimum-fee candidates and 12 expiring contracts are identified from that career. Loan-list and transfer-list status have not been decoded, so those categories remain empty. An existing loan is not proof of loan availability. Euro estimates use a broad 1.16–1.17 conversion interval calibrated against ten current salaries displayed by that career; threshold candidates use the upper estimate. Current wages are not new-contract demands.
