Plan the window around both budgets

Compare the resources for immediate improvement with the room needed to retain and renew developing players.

A transfer allowance does not cover every cost of a signing. Allow for wages, signing payments, agent fees, instalments and contract rises. A free transfer can still use substantial annual wage room. Registration and player interest remain separate checks.

Source, calculation and limits

These are recorded figures from one starting career, not guaranteed budgets for every setup. The finance decoder and currency conversion were checked against the exact annual wage figures in a separate saved career and its FM27 Finance screen. Each club below is read from its own current finance record; it was not individually checked on screen.

The starting snapshot is dated 29 June 2026. Current finance records are joined by the club’s persistent database ID. We use the remaining transfer-funds field, not bank balance or monthly history. The observed opening transfer fields agree in this snapshot.

Stored weekly wage budgets and spending are multiplied by 52. Approximate euro amounts use a conversion of 1.164101125, calibrated against both the exact annual budget and annual spending displayed for Fenerbahçe in a saved career dated 12 July 2026. Wage spending follows the game’s figure including bonuses. Annual headroom is calculated as budget minus spending; negative values remain negative.

The source career’s complete loaded-league and board-expectation settings were not independently recorded. Use these as comparative starting observations, not a promise that another new career will reproduce every figure.

A zero shown in the table is a recorded zero or a calculated zero. Clubs without readable finance records are omitted rather than assigned zero. Database updates, start date, enabled leagues, board choices, existing commitments and budget adjustments can change your career’s figures. Check the Finances screen before making an offer.

Quick answers

Which FM27 starting budgets does this page cover?

Selected clubs in Germany, from a career saved on 29 June 2026 using FM27 build 27.0.0+2486695. This is partial country coverage, not a complete league table. Different career setups can produce different figures.

Are the club budget figures exact?

The figures are approximate euros. The finance decoder and conversion were checked against exact annual wage figures in a separate saved career and its game screen. Annual wage amounts use weekly values multiplied by 52; headroom is budget minus wage spending including bonuses.

Why are some FM27 clubs missing budget figures?

Some clubs have only minimal finance records in the source career. We keep their budgets unknown instead of substituting bank balance, player salaries or zero. Check that club’s Finances screen in your own career.
