THE REASON TO CARE
Fenerbahçe: end the title drought
At the 2026/27 starting point, Fenerbahçe’s last league title is 2013/14 in the TFF archive: a 12-year wait. UEFA confirms the club already ended its 18-year absence from the Champions League proper by qualifying for 2026/27. Your mission is to win the league and turn that European return into a sustained presence, rather than qualify for a first return that has already happened.
Your opening moves
- Build the league plan around reliability against opponents you should beat. Treat dropped points away from the headline derbies as seriously as derby defeats.
- Identify where your best XI lacks cover before European travel begins. Recruit for the second match of the week as well as the first.
- Keep a settled tactical identity and a clear leadership group. Rotate workloads without changing your entire approach after each setback.
Give the save its own rules.
- No editor boosts and no mid-season restart to erase a bad result.
- Keep separate records for league results, derbies, and Champions League performances.
- Do not break your annual wage structure for a single emergency signing.
A career worth following
- Season one: win the Süper Lig and end the wait.
- Next: reach the Champions League knockout phase and qualify again through domestic results.
- Long game: surpass the club’s 2007/08 Champions League quarter-final benchmark.
The trap to avoid
Pressure can make every setback feel like a reason to start over. The challenge is maintaining enough consistency to win the ordinary matches too.
Check before you start
Confirm the club’s division, player availability, finances, competition rules, and database version. Keep an untouched opening save. If your database differs from the premise, adapt the challenge and record the change rather than quietly editing the game world.
